Introduction:
Join us for the Spring Parade of Homes and participate in our People’s Choice Drawing! Explore beautiful homes and get a chance to win simply casting your vote for your favorite home.
Eligibility:
- Participants must be legal residents of the United States.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to enter.
- Only one entry per house per person is allowed. Multiple entries from the same house will disqualify the entrant.
- All entries must be submitted by the closing date of the Parade to be eligible for the drawing.
How to Enter:
- Visit any house participating in the Parade of Homes.
- Scan the “People’s Choice” QR code displayed at each house.
- After scanning, you will be prompted to provide your name, phone number, and email address for entry into the drawing.
Entry Verification:
- To ensure fairness, the information provided must be verifiable. In case of winning, if your information cannot be verified, the entry will be voided, and the prize will be awarded to another participant.
Drawing and Notification:
- The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.
- The draw will take place after the event concludes and all entries are reviewed.
- The winner will be contacted directly to verify their information before the announcement is made.
- The winner must be present at the time of award pickup, or they may designate a representative with prior written authorization. The prize must be collected within 30 days from the announcement of the winner, or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to another participant.
- Winner announcements will be made on Facebook and promoted on wabahome.com and newhomeswichita.com.
Prize:
- One lucky winner will receive the prize.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.
- The winner will be responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, including income taxes, associated with the receipt of the prize. The winner may be required to complete a W-9 form for tax reporting purposes, and a Form 1099 may be issued.
- In the event that the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the organizers reserve the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value.
Prize Pickup:
- The winner will be required to provide valid identification (such as a driver’s license or passport) when claiming the prize to verify their identity. If the winner’s identity cannot be verified, the entry will be voided, and a new winner will be selected.
- If the winner designates another person to pick up the prize on their behalf, the winner must provide prior written authorization and a copy of their valid ID. The designated individual will also need to present valid identification when picking up the prize.
- The winner will be responsible for completing and returning any necessary tax forms (e.g., W-9) before or during prize pickup. If a representative is picking up the prize on the winner’s behalf, the tax documents will be emailed directly to the winner for completion.
- The individual picking up the prize, whether the winner or a designated representative, will be required to sign a delivery confirmation at the time of prize collection, acknowledging receipt and acceptance of the prize in good condition.
General Conditions:
- By entering this drawing, participants agree to abide by these rules and decisions made by the organizers, which are final and binding in all matters related to this promotion.
- Any attempt to tamper with the entry process, interfere with the operation of the drawing, or engage in fraudulent activities will result in disqualification.
- Participants agree to allow the use of their name and image in promotional material if they win, without further compensation.
